Meet Barbara Sarno
Barbara graduated in Baking and Pastry Summa Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University.
She was honored to be voted into the Silver Key Honor Society by her Johnson & Wales peers.
She worked diligently as the pastry chef at the well known French Bakery on Cape Cod (PB Boulangerie) and was also the pastry chef at Cafe Nuovo in Providence.
Barbara began Sweet Possibilities LLC in 2007 in Connecticut. She sold products to high end restaurants and natural food stores. Her love of local and passionate support of products inspired and motivated her even at the very beginning of Sweet Possibilities LLC.
She moved back to Rhode Island in 2014 where she had lived for many years and in the spring of 2015 she began selling her newest product, Almond Flax Snax. At the request of customers, she introduced the Almond Flax Superfood Energy bar in 2016. It quickly became a "Top 100" seller in 2017 at Whole Foods Market Garden City in Cranston.
Barb has gone on to create the Almond-Chai Energy bar which is a unique combination of 10 organic spices. The Hike & Bike bar made its debut in November 2018 and is currently a favorite. Spring of 2019 brought us the Espresso Buzz Energy Bar, using locally roasted espresso beans. More unique flavors are on the horizon.
Anyone who knows Barb, knows her passion and creativity is limitless.
She continues to create so stay tuned to the page for updates on Barb's journey!
